Welcome to the application for “synths in depth”. The course is a weekend course suitable for those who want to explore; synths in general, different concepts and techniques used to create sounds such as additive, subtractive, modular, software/hardware etc. We also go through how they can be used practically as well as getting to know the lingo of synthesisers.
The course consists of 2 course sessions of 6 hours each. The course is divided into two sections with a focus on the following:
01-Different kind of synthesis, modules and programming concepts
03-Usage of the modules and creating sounds to sculpt sounds
The level of the course is adopted to the participants along the course and we are constantly working from the perspective of where you are in your personal creative process.
The participant is expected to bring: Computer with recording software of your choice/digital audio workstation (DAW), a pair of headphones of better quality. In addition to this, we use free softwares and plugins to be able to explore the course together as well as hardware synths to get deeper into the concepts and creative process (possibility to bring your own synth).
